In 2022, Goya was commissioned to create a 40 minute original score for 'On Reefs and Eroded Lands We Danced' - a choreographic creation by ŻfinMalta - The National Dance Company of Malta. The score will find way into his upcoming album 'The World We Wanted'. You can see the trailer of the creation here. The album is preceded by a five song EP 'Space and Time' which released in December, 2023.
‘Space and Time’ is a 5 track EP that is inspired by my love for sound design, physics, science fiction, fascination with the universe. It contains 5 tracks that were written over the last one year and speak the language of ambient, experimental yet cinematic music.

Biography
Goya is the artist moniker of Abhishek Sekhri, a New Delhi based music producer, mix engineer and founder of Kintsugi Studios.
Goya's music revolves around experimental, ambient and cinematic electronic that is meant to evoke a physical as well as an emotional response. Although music is an auditory form of expression, to him it very visual. He can almost always imagine a story, a photograph or a scene in his mind while composing. With a profound understanding of sound manipulation and curiosity for sonic exploration, Goya creates a musical experience that defies conventional boundaries and immerses audiences in a state of introspective reverie.
In March 2024, Goya released 'Fences', an original in collaboration with Kavya Trehan
In January 2024, Goya released a remix of the track ‘Calypso’ by the UK/Malta based based post punk band ‘Genn’
In December 2023, Goya performed his live set at the Magnetic Fields Festival, one of the biggest festivals in South East Asia.
In December 2022, Goya opened for the electronic music group 'HVOB' from Austria for their India tour. You can view parts of the live show here.

In December 2021, Goya was selected as one of the only 4 music producers from India to create a track as a part of the ‘Sounds of the City' project, a Berklee College x MAP Bangalore initiative.This gave way to one of his latest tracks 'Dilli' which is produced entirely using sounds he recorded in the city without the use of any musical instruments.
In 2021, Two of Goya's singles 'Toska' and 'Sleep to Dream' were added to Spotify Editorial Playlists - 'Refractions', 'Modular Synths' and 'Fresh Finds Experimental'.
Apart from Goya, Abhishek also runs Kintsugi Studios, a creative audio and music production studio in New Delhi, India. With 8 years of professional experience under his belt, he has worked with over a 100 artists on over 200 songs, 4 albums and 5 EPs and seeks to push the boundaries of his experience and new learning.
