Hobbies & Interests

I enjoy being outside in nature - hiking, running, walking the dog, biking with the family, or simply sitting on the porch watching hummingbirds while I listen to the sound of leaves rustling in the wind. I've done a number of challenging and technical hikes and hope to do more in the future! Top 5 Favorite Hikes

  1. Havasu Falls - We were lucky to have the falls entirely to ourselves. That is nearly unheard of these days!
  2. Flatiron - One of the most difficult hikes I've ever done. Parts of it felt pretty sketchy but the view at the top was amazing.
  3. Picacho Peak - Technical, but really fun!
  4. Rincon Peak - This was the most physically grueling (and by far the longest) day hike. The blisters were REAL but it's pretty crazy being up higher than the birds!
  5. Cathedral Rock - This was a girls' trip hiking weekend in Sedona and was the best time, plus the views are to die for!

Honorable Mention: Sombrero (Safford) Peak - We did this at a time when there was no marked trail, which made it pretty unruly and difficult, but this peak looks over my home and I got married at Sanctuary Cove, so it holds a special place in my heart!

I like gardening (though my husband is really the master gardener) and enjoy eating the fruits of our labors even more! I love to travel and spend time with my family. I am a "work to live" person (not a "live to work" person). I love my job, but love life more! <3
