2025 Honors Convocation

Flag bearers, comprised of 13 seniors with the highest academic achievement, had the honor of leading the formal academic procession into Honors Convocation.

The Joyce G. Ferguson 50th Anniversary Faculty Development Fund for the Enhancement of Excellence in Teaching: Ashley Feagin, associate professor of art and art history

Arthur Andersen Teaching Awards

New Teacher of the Year: Stephen Young, assistant professor of economics and management

Distinguished Teaching by a Tenured Member of the Faculty: Elizabeth Barrios, associate professor of modern languages and cultures

Distinguished Teaching by a Junior Member of the Faculty: Emmeline Solomon, assistant professor of art and art history [Not in attendance]

Phi Beta Kappa Scholar of the Year Award: Lucia Soriano, assistant professor of ethnic studies and women's, gender, and sexuality studies
