A Class Book Comes Together
Second grade students completed an exciting writing project by publishing their own class book through Student Treasures. After brainstorming possible titles and voting as a group, students selected Believe in Yourself and Follow Your Dreams for their final publication. Over the course of several weeks, each student planned, organized, and drafted their writing. During art classes, Ms. Lawrence worked with students to create illustrations to accompany their pages and she designed the cover, incorporating elements that reflected each child’s “dream.” Printed copies of the book have arrived, and a library copy will be available for students and staff to read and check out.
