Students in Spanish class recently combined creativity and language learning through a festive gingerbread house activity. Working in teams, students designed and decorated their own gingerbread houses using candy, icing, and plenty of imagination. After completing their creations, students practiced descriptive vocabulary by explaining their gingerbread houses in Spanish—an enjoyable and hands-on way to reinforce language skills.
