Set in New York City the story unfolds on broadway as Logan Pierre, a young playwright making his broadway debut trys to produce his next big play. His last play flopped , and his financial struggles led him to alcoholism in addition to a case of writer’s block that fuels his self-doubt. with a new baby on the way, a crumbling marriage. A mother-in-law that hates him, and his career in the balance. The tortured artist has one last shot to make it big in the city of dreams. desperate to finance his play 'A Long Kiss Goodnight' He casts a group of unknown actors and misfits. Mia Magnolia is a rising actress looking for her big break, she is embroiled in family drama while being stuck in an abusive relationship with a rich and powerful man. After her boyfriend Paris proposes, she feels pressured by her controlling mother to marry a man she doesn’t love but when she falls for Saint Youngblood she’s forced to choose between love and money. Saint Youngblood is a low level hitman in a mafia crime family who is first sent to Assassinate Mia Magnolia. His life takes an unexpected turn when he is cast in Logan's play, saint meets and falls for his target Mia Magnolia, sparking a dangerous but enchanting romance, the two lost creative souls find refuge in each other. He becomes captivated by the world of Theatre and after finding his true love Saint desires to escape the criminal underworld and become and actor, but quickly learns he may be in too deep in the family business. Logan Pierre- Male early 30's over came hardships growing up on the streets of Harlem and is now ready to make his mark on broadway. A playwright/Director and intelligent tortured artist struggling to over come his vices
Mia Magnolia- Female early 20's and multi-talented singer/actress born into a family of entertainers, she is a starlet destined for the spotlight but struggles to find her own voice being controlled by those around her
Sydney Magnolia-Pierre - American Female early 30's/late 20's, unlike her sister Mia she chooses not to go into entertainment instead working as a real estate agent and raising her daughter. She's a strong feisty woman who fights to keep her marriage alive and support her husbands dreams
Sasha Magnolia- early 50's A washed up Broadway actress who lives vicariously through her daughters. Her callous and abusive behavior becomes pronounced when she clashes with her daughters as she forces Mia to marry Paris for his wealth status and power.
Paris Robinson- Mid/Late 30's Rich and powerful business man who owns several night clubs in New York City is engaged to Mia Magnolia. an egomaniacal abusive man who is used to getting his way because of his wealth and power.
Saint Youngblood- male mid 20's works as a hitman for the Youngblood crime family. After his mother was killed he was adopted and groomed to be an assassin at 17. has grown disenchanted with the criminal lifestyle want to be an artist
Adonis Youngblood- early 60's male A ruthless crime boss and head of the Youngblood crime family. he rules the streets of New York and will do anything to protect the empire he built.
Ace Youngblood- Late 20's Saint's partner in crime and ruthless assassin consumed with greed, money and power
Jewelz Youngblood - Early 20's Daughter of Adonis Youngblood a beautiful seductive young lady eager to help build her fathers empire.
