In South Korea there are a ton of convenience stores that sell chips, ramen, gimbap, dumplings, and so much more.
There are many cafes that introduce fun and unique themes. In South Korea there is likely a cafe that suite anyone's interests. Cat cafes, Dog cafes, Maid cafes, and K-Pop cafes are just some to name a few.
In the area we lived by there were a bunch of shops that had live sea animals in tanks so that they could cook them for food.
Not only is there delicious Korean food but they also have other cuisines such as Italian, French, and Japanese.
Galbitang was probably my most favorite dish during the trip. It reminded me of home and I loved it. It consisted of short ribs, glass noodles, green onions, and more. Galbitang is served with rice and kimchi.
Koreans eat a lot of fermented food which has health benefits like improved digestion, immune support, and overall gut health. Kimchi and gochujang are most famous in South Korea. Kimchi has a ton of different variations, over 250 different types.
