Otselic Valley’s second graders had a wonderful day of hands-on learning during their recent visit to Fenimore Farm and Museum!
Students explored the historic site and met a variety of friendly farm animals -- including goats, sheep, cows, horses, pigs, and even a bunny. The trip also gave students a glimpse into life long ago as they toured an old-fashioned pharmacy, watched blacksmiths melt iron into nails, and explored historic houses relocated from across New York State.
The field trip was the perfect mix of history, science, and discovery, sparking curiosity and smiles all around.
A big thank-you to Fenimore Farm and Museum for giving our students such a memorable, educational experience!
