Cafe Freedom A story about Top Toast and it's owner

Khing, 44, is committed to his craft. He is precise in his measurements, he gives a taste before serving to make sure that his coffee is not imbalanced.

The cafe is a tight fit inside Khing’s actual house. He uses the ground floor as the cafe and lives upstairs. He did this intentionally to ensure that he gives every customer the time they deserve. “If there are too many people, he says, “they cannot be comfortable, and the drink may take a long time to make”.

Khing says this with his signature cheerful personality. He get’s overjoyed when walk in customers from Europe walk in unexpectedly. And passionately explains what is available for them to order.

“It’s amazing, It’s like being at a wine tasting”, one customer says. They had tasted several coffee cups.

Like the name of the shop, Khing has a toast menu. Using his own baked bread, he prepares his customers orders.

His business grew by word of mouth. First it was his friends who supported him, and now, he takes orders for his loaves through Facebook a day in advance. I work in the morning and by noon, I deliver to my customers.
