About

Hi. My name is Audreyal Koinva, Audie for short. I'm a Native American Mixed Media Hopi Artist & Podcaster. I reside in Los Angeles, CA, Phoenix, and on the Hopi reservation in AZ.

I enjoy making bold statements by creating large pieces of artworks like making furniture, or painting on large scale canvases. I've acquired some of my fathers jewelry making skills and carpentry skills and I find myself the most happiest in doing them.

I find my inspirations through my culture and my own personal interests. I like all things that are cute and funny, things that I've learned from, and most importantly, the things that have given me growth..

In this world, I have found my purpose. My entire life, I have created art to guide curious souls towards enlightenment. I believe art transcends mere aesthetics, it becomes a structure for growth. Art brings understanding, empathy, and connection bridging gaps, dissolves boundaries and invites dialogue. It's a universal language doesn't need any translation.

So friends, I invite you to join me on this belief, and connect with me on how you would like my contribution to your organization. If your belief and cause curates exhibitions that challenge perceptions, and will ignite the flames in the art space, connect with me. Let's celebrate diversity, answer questions to the curious, and dance with the imagination together.

FAQ

Shipping • Everything on my site only ships within the US. The shipping cost of 24" x 36" canvas paintings is automatically set to $100; which is already included in the cost of the painting(s) We also may have to exchange emails with the shipper. We both have to consider the rise in gas prices and the safety of the shipper through the pandemic. If you would like to hire your own shipping company and/or you'd like to pick up your item(s) yourself, we can certainly make arrangements.

Pricing • I price my paintings by the cost of materials, and the time it takes to paint my works.

Pricing for Jewelry • Because my jewelry pieces are hand-made, hand-cut, hand-finished; and I consider the cost of materials, my jewelry prices will also fluctuate from time to time due to the rise in metal(s).

Commissions  • I can certainly remake the any item(s) you see here and change the accent color(s). There is an additional cost of a $200 non-refundable deposit for paintings, and $400 for furniture items before your request can be started.

Authenticity • Each original painting comes with an authenticity certificate for each/own individual piece. The authenticity certificate will not be completed until full payment of the piece is received + the shipping costs, and the decided shipping company/person(s).
