Celebrating Outstanding Student-Athletes
Otselic Valley seniors Caleb Loomis and Abiana White were recognized for their outstanding achievements as recipients of the 2026 Section III Scholar-Athlete Award. The Section III Scholar-Athlete Program annually honors one senior male and one senior female student-athlete from each member school whose academic and athletic accomplishments exemplify excellence. Recipients demonstrate success in the classroom and in athletic competition while also serving as role models through their leadership, sportsmanship, integrity, and dedication. To be considered for the award, students must maintain a grade point average of at least 90 while participating in multiple varsity sports during both their junior and senior years. In addition to the individual honors earned by Caleb and Abiana, Otselic Valley's Golf and Softball teams were recognized by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) as Scholar-Athlete Teams for the Spring 2026 season.
