Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Israeli national security minister who has been indicted in Israel for racism and support for a terrorist organization, spoke to the Jewish society Shabtai Wednesday night. His visit was met with hundreds of protesters.

A counter-protester approached the crowd with an Israeli flag.
Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss — a spokesman for Neturei Karta, a prominent Haredi Jewish anti-Zionist group — spoke against Israel's war in Gaza.
Protesters affiliated with Neturei Karta lined up in front of Shabtai as guests entered the mansion.

As they entered the event, some Shabtai guests recorded protesters. Protesters also recorded and jeered at attendees.

Pro-Palestinian protesters were also stationed on Lincoln Street, behind the house and blocking the back entrance.
Many protesters held banners on the sidewalk adjacent to Shabtai as they jeered at Shabtai, Ben-Gvir and guests attending the event.
As Itamar Ben-Gvir entered Shabtai's mansion, he looked back to the crowd of protesters and made a gesture often associated with peace. Photo by Elijah Hurewitz-Ravitch.
Protesters affiliated with Neturei Karta walked through Orange Street in front of Shabtai.
