When communicating with faculty and the administrative staff, it's important to include your Student ID Number so we know exactly who you are and don't mistaken you for another student with a similar name. Also - be sure you are always using your Seneca email in communications - this is for privacy reasons.

This will also save time with an email that goes like this:

EMAIL 1: (day 1)

TO: someone
FROM: me
MESSAGE: Hi someone, I need this and that for my thing. Thank you, Me.

EMAIL 2: (Day 2-4)

TO: me
FROM: someone
MESSAGE: Hi me, Thanks for your inquiry. Please include your student number. Thank you, someone

EMAIL 3: (Day 4-5)

TO: someone
FROM: me
MESSAGE: Hi someone, Here is my student number: 123456789. Thank you, Me.

AUTHENTICATION

At this point, you know you have to authenticate or approve your login to everything. Maybe you've opted for the text code option. I wanted to share with you the DUO Mobile app. It's (in my opinion) the easiest way to authenticate. There's no code, you just get a pop up on your phone and you choose yes or no. Done.
