Welcome back! We hope you all had a lovely half term break! We have came back to the Hub raring to go! We created a new writing table and the children have loved it! We have been mark making, drawing and practicing our writing using the different pens, dabbers and crayons and have created some lovely pictures!
We got a little messy with the paint - making some firework pictures. We tried to blow through a straw to make the watery paint move which we found a little tricky. We found 'splatting' the brush and the paint worked just as well with some really good results!
We finished off our week with the most stunning walk at Gibside. Nature certainly shone in all it's colourful glory! We even stopped off to do a bit of bird (and sheep) spotting in the hide - what a beautiful morning!
