God captured our hearts for His mission as college students. Through our involvement with the ministry of Cru God would move in our lives in such a way that we would both end up working for Cru after graduating college.
Over the last 13 years we have collectively served in 8 cities across the U.S. and 3 other countries. After getting married in 2019 we accepted roles as Team Leaders for the area of southeastern NC. The vision that has stuck with us over the years is trusting God for spiritual movements everywhere so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus.
We believe there is a great opportunity to reach and equip the next generation of students in light of the real need. Many students are in search of connection, purpose and hope.
Our mission field: the college campus.
- Personal achievement is central to this generation of college student's identity more than family, background and religion.
- Through technology students are close to those far away but can be more distant to those around them.
- Post Christian: more apathy towards religion.
Facing isolation and the pressure to achieve, students are more overwhelmed, anxious and depressed than any other generation. Universities across the country are confronting a 62% rise in suicide rates.
BUT GOD!
Together you and I have a great opportunity to shine in the middle of a generation that desperately needs the light of Christ. Our desire is to provide an environment where they can know hope in Jesus, connect in community & be sent to serve God's Kingdom wherever they go.
