Seven Huskies Bring Home Medals From 2026 OlympicsThe United States took home gold and Switzerland won bronze as seven Huskies earned a medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Five Huskies helped Team USA defeat Canada, 2-1 in overtime, to capture gold.
Aerin Frankel and Gwyneth Philips combined to allow just two goals throughout the entire tournament. The duo helped the United States record a 352:17 shutout streak, the longest in Olympic Ice Hockey history.
Kendall Coyne Schofield captured her second gold medal in 2026. She posted three goals in the tournament. A first time gold-medalist, Hayley Scamurra also tallied three goals for Team USA.
TEAM SWITZERLAND
Alumna Alina Müller, current freshman Alessia Baechler and incoming freshman Ivana Wey all helped Team Switzerland capture bronze with a 2-1 overtime victory over Sweden. Müller scored the game-winning goal with an assist from Wey.
The team welcomed back bronze medalist Alessia Baechler with the Hockey East Regular Season Trophy and decorations in the team locker room.
With seven medalists, it marks the most medals ever won in a single games by Northeastern athletes.
