The 2025 Leadership Development Institute™ (LDI)

What makes a great leader?

Many say the ability to understand others makes the biggest difference, but true connection with people begins with understanding oneself.

The Goering Center is excited to partner with Leadership Excelleration again this year to bring you the Leadership Development Institute ™ (LDI). This course focuses on understanding and honing your leadership skills to have a positive impact on your team that will ultimately propel your business into the future.

The 2025 class of the Leadership Development Institute begins on March 12. There's no better time than now to realize your leadership potential.

Program Recap: Simplifying IT Luncheon

We hosted our first luncheon of the year, Simplifying IT: Building the Right Tech Foundation for Family and Private Businesses, on January 23 at the Oscar Event Center inside Jungle Jim’s International Market.

Thank you to our moderator, Dave Hatter of Intrust IT, as well as our panelists, Spencer and Bryan Hogan of Afidence and Tracy Ruberg of T6 Group, for sharing your words of wisdom on how to leverage technology to ensure businesses succeed.

A special thank you also goes out to our surprise speakers, Jimmy Bonaminio and Josh Campbell of Jungle Jim’s, who joined us to share how they implement technology to streamline their operations.

"It's good to hear other subject matter experts talk about these subjects, so that we can take back and implement things to our organizations."
Eku Williams, Partner & Practice Leader, CyberSure

Overview: Leadership Development Institute™ (LDI)

We hosted a complimentary overview of our Leadership Development Institute (LDI) on January 29.

We heard so much about the impact of this program and the importance of developing leadership skills, including:

  • You learn from those in the front of the room, yes. But, what you will learn from those in the room is so powerful!
  • LDI is truly about development. It’s an immersive experience and journey that will have profound impact on your work and life and leave you more focused and more confident.
  • We are witnessing the largest workforce transition ever which is creating huge talent gaps fueling the need for rapid leadership development.

If you missed the overview, but would like to explore how LDI® can fuel your leadership development, reach out to David Miller, Membership Director, at david.miller@uc.edu.

As always, thank you to Diane Egbers for presenting the overview, and to Mollie Lewis for sharing how LDI has helped the team over at New Riff Distilling.

"It was so good to get formal training. This is stuff that you don't necessarily get through your hands-on experiences."
