Your Support is Shaping the Future of Health
Thank you for your generous contribution to LYCEUM. Your support is making a lasting impact by advancing DNA Discovery with TriHealth—a groundbreaking population health and genomics research project. Through this initiative, 100,000 volunteers will have the opportunity to receive genetic screenings at no cost, helping them understand their risk for certain cancers and hereditary conditions. With your help, we’re empowering individuals with life-changing health insights and providing crucial genetic counseling for those in need. Together, we are transforming the future of healthcare, one discovery at a time.

nearly 400 people attended and enjoyed an evening of fun and excitement followed by a special presentation from Sampson Davis, M.d.
By having a comprehensive look at a patient’s DNA, our healthcare providers will be able to make better plans to prevent illness before symptoms appear, find new treatments and give the right treatments when needed.

A childhood Pact that changed the course of his life.
Dr. Davis reflected on a life-changing conversation with his two childhood friends Rameck Hunt and George Jenkins. While in high school, they made a pact that they would stick together through college and graduate school and become doctors together. Growing up in the streets of Newark, they knew first hand the pressures and struggles of life in the inner city and how difficult it can be going at it alone. Determined not to become victims of their environment, the trio stood firm in their mission and together became one of the most remarkable success stories of inspiration, dedication and determination.
“sometimes people are drawn together for a purpose that even they dont recognize at the time.”
Educating and Inspiring the Nation
Dr. Davis has authored five books, with his newest book, "The STUFF: Unlock Your Power to Overcome Challenges, Soar, and Succeed". In it, he shares poignant, inspiring stories of everyday individuals who fought through impossible life defining circumstances, overpowered and succeeded. His stories and inspiring messages have reached audiences across the world, and at the Lyceum event he announced that his first book "The Pact" is in talks about becoming a television show. Additionally, Dr. Davis shared his most notable and memorable interview with the incorporable Oprah Winfrey. She called Dr. Davis "One of The Premiere Role Models of the World".
Protect Your Health, Protect Your Legacy - Through DNA Knowledge
Dr. Davis shared his inspiring journey from growing up on the streets to becoming a doctor, author, and public speaker. Alongside his two best friends, he made a pact to succeed—a powerful reminder that “you can’t be what you can’t see.” As an African American physician who once lacked role models like himself, Dr. Davis now serves as an example for others to follow. He connected his story to our groundbreaking DNA Discovery project, emphasizing how this initiative is setting a new standard in population health and genomics research. By leading the way, we are paving a path for others nationwide to follow, improving access to genetic information and advancing personalized healthcare.

Understanding the genetic foundation of a person is proving to be essential for recommending treatments that are more likely to work, medications that are less likely to cause fatal side effects, and recommendations for improved disease prevention.
