From the Hilltop November 2024

Grateful for Our Community

As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday here in the U.S., we are thankful for our global Kimball Union Academy family whose outpouring of support, kindness, and compassion reminds us all of why KUA has endured for more than two centuries. It's here that we know that the best learning happens when kids are supported and encouraged through a strong sense of belonging and positive relationships. Never has this been more evident than in the past month as we helped one another through heartbreak, celebrated philanthropy and community building, and championed students and faculty in pursuit of their passions. Thank you KUA and enjoy this issue of From the Hilltop!

Introducing a New Reason to Roar

The Fall Play: A Bloody Good Time

The Department of Theater presented Dracula on October 31-November 1, giving audiences a terrific way to enjoy a guilt-free Halloween. The cast and crew delivered a remarkable experience, recreating Transylvania with a set including three trap doors, one coffin, and an eerie fog that rolled across the stage thanks to four gallons of distilled water. Four wardrobe crew members assisted with 43 costume changes in this period piece.
