This was my first ever work in adobe illustrator and I would say that I did a decent job here. This illustration I made shows an arena of snowman fighting with only two left standing. While creating this I learned how to create and combine shapes together for better visuals. Though I didn't really have a end goal in this project as I didn't really know what I was going for. Even so, I am proud of the piece I made and hope that others can also share this feeling.
In this project our goal was to create a logo for a company called Xtreme Latitude. I made a simple circle like logo with designs on the inside for extra show. My goal for this was to just have it look very noticeable while still being a some what simple work. I believe that It came out at a satisfactory level and how it shows what it represents pretty well.
Here I created a pattern on a snowboard with a darker and more expressive design. I was able to learn how to layer and create illustrator brushes to help add on to the design of the board a bit more. My goal was to give it many noticeable details for show and add unique texture to it as well. This project came out very well in my opinion and is one of my favorites that I have made. I hope that others can see the calm but bright design that was made for a more neutral feeling.
In this project we had to create a shoe design that we would then print out and put together ourselves. I didn't really learn much here, but I did reuse my past knowledge of other projects to help put it together into what I desired. I really just wanted to create a shoe design that stood out a little bit. It came out pretty well in the end and I do believe that I met my expectations for this.
This was actually one of the more difficult projects for me as we create a messy mod type art style. I ended up creating a tiki like illustration as it is something that can have many creative designs all over it which helped make this a bit easier. I learned how to create new and unique patterns in this project to help me get my final product. My goal for this was to create enough designs withing the piece of art to make it appreciable, but leave enough empty spaces for a little extra show and the art. I really like how this came out and how it doesn't restrict how creative you can be. I hope the audience of this art can see the work put into it and also appreciate this work.
