Maika Loubté is a Tokyo-based electronic artist, producer, and singer known for her colorful blend of synth-pop, electronic, and experimental sounds. With bilingual lyrics and a cross-cultural sensibility shaped by her upbringing in Paris, Yokohama, and Hong Kong, she creates music that bridges boundaries — between analog and digital, East and West, the intimate and the futuristic. From vintage synths and dreamy textures to emotionally charged songwriting, Maika creates soundscapes that explore memory, identity, and connection. On stage, her magnetic presence and genre-defying live sets have the rare power to captivate both underground electronic listeners and mainstream pop audiences alike—bridging worlds through sound, movement, and pure emotion.
In spring 2026, Maika Loubté will launch her new album House of Holy Banana. Following the self-titled single “The House of Holy Banana,” which dropped in October 2025, several more tracks are being released over the next few months.
The concept began with a whimsical thought — “Half of the human genome matches that of a banana” — and evolved into a profound exploration of coexistence, absurdity, and empathy through sound.
Mixing warm analog synths, minimal grooves, and poetic lyrics, the album reflects Maika’s unique approach to pop and philosophy.
