Week of May 5-9, 2025
Principal Message
As we welcome the beautiful month of May—a time dedicated to honoring Mary, the Mother of Jesus—we are reminded of the importance of grace, humility, and joyful celebration in our Catholic faith.
This week, our school community was blessed to complete an exciting Groove Box dance residency, where students had the opportunity to express themselves through movement, creativity, and teamwork. The energy, dedication, and talent our students displayed were truly inspiring!
A special thank you to the many families who joined us for Friday afternoon’s showcase. Your presence and encouragement mean so much to our students and staff. It was a joy to witness the pride on each child’s face as they performed for such a supportive audience.
As we journey through this final term of the school year, may we continue to walk in faith, celebrate learning, and give thanks for the many gifts in our community.
Wishing you a blessed and joy-filled weekend!
Mrs. Carr-Jeschke & Mrs. McNamee
Supporting Well Being in our Schools
At Edmonton Catholic Schools, we know that student and staff well-being go hand in hand. When staff thrive, students thrive too. ECSD is launching the Integrated Health and Well-being Framework, which supports mental, spiritual, physical, social, and emotional well-being in our schools and workplaces.
This new framework provides a more holistic approach to the well-being of both students and staff as we retire the Mental Health Strategic Plan. By prioritizing well-being at all levels, we are creating a supportive and inclusive school community where everyone can thrive.
We invite families to read through the framework to become familiar with the supports in place for your children.

Student Pick Ups/Drop Offs
When dropping off/picking up students, please use the designated drop off zones. These are 96 Ave (in front of the school) and 145 Street (the west side of the school).
Please DO NOT use the staff parking lot for student drop offs or pick ups. There are a lot of blind spots and staff vehicles, along with Division vehicles, coming in and out of the lot. This creates a very unsafe environment for students to be walking through.
Please choose safety over convenience and use marked cross walks and drop off zones to ensure students arrive safely to and from school.
Thank you for your cooperation!
