Alli's Online Portfolio Computer graphic design fall 2024

I created a postcard from the state of Texas. I learned how to make a background, put images into text, and how spacing and sizes work. My goal for this project was to make a postcard that resembled the importance of Texas and fun things to do in Texas. I feel like my postcard turned out really well, my images showed up good and it resembled Texas. I hope that my audience is inspired to visit Texas when they see it.

I created a montage of photos that represented how much student athletes have to deal with. I created an image of a girl holding up a trailer filled with sports things, school work, and other everyday worries. I learned how to use layer masks, the rule of thirds, and shadows. My goal for this project was to make a good representation of my sentence and make it look realistic with the images I put together. I feel like the montage turned out good and looked realistic. I hope my audience can understand the stress of being a student athlete when they see this montage.

I created a scary movie poster using only 4 colors. I learned how to use a color scheme, transform images into the color scheme, and create a pattern. My goal for this project was to make an eye catching poster that had good colors, images, and text. I feel like my movie poster turned out well because my color scheme worked well and it had an overall scary theme. I hope my audience feels like they would want to go see the movie when they see my poster.

I created a book cover for the book Little House on the Prairie using cardstock paper. I learned how to transform images into one type of media and how to use a mock up. My goal for this project was to create a cool looking book cover that represented my book. I feel like the book cover turned out really good because I was able to cut out all the images using different colors of cardstock paper and it was detailed. I hope that my audience will want to read the book when they see the book cover.
