Attention 8th Grade Parents!

  • Zionsville Community High School offers honors level courses in English and math. These courses provide opportunity for accelerated, in-depth, rigorous study. Students who are successful in these courses typically demonstrate previous school success, have a strong content background, possess an earnest desire to succeed, and possess effective organizational skills.
  • Placement is determined based upon this criteria. Students who qualify to enroll in Geometry Honors will be notified personally via parent email on January 23rd.
  • Enrollment is always a parent/student decision, however, and parents/students may choose not to enroll in the honors course.
  • Students who do not receive notice of qualification to enroll by this date may request a form from their middle school counselor to complete and submit to the high school department chair for review of their placement qualifications. The deadline for the review submission is February 6th.
