DROWNSHIP, formed in 2018, is a 5-piece post-metal band from Hamburg. Comprising some members of OPHIS, TODTGELICHTER and CALEYA. Early 2021 they released the EP "A Dirge To A Carrion Heart" via MOMENT OF COLLAPSE RECORDS/ BLOODBLAST DISTRIBUTION. After some live shows (with THRONEHAMMER, EVOKEN, THE MOTH, OK WAIT etc), they recorded their debut album "Tidal Passages" which will be released in November 2024 via THESE HANDS MELT.
DROWNSHIP creates a mix of heavy and progressive soundscapes, accompanied by screams and clean singing.
