New Student Days - Welcome Week Campus Recreation Activities

Wednesday, August 21st: Come learn more about Campus Recreation at the Campus & Community Resource Fair

Stop by the Campus Rec table between 9am -3pm to learn more about all things Campus Recreation. This event takes place in the Powerhouse!
Don't forget to stop by the Kona Ice Truck for a FREE cup of Shaved Kona Ice. Located outside the Powerhouse next to the BMO bank info table.

Wednesday, August 21st: POWERHOUSE TAKEOVER

Get ready for some fun! Doors open at 8:30pm, make sure you have the Campus Rec App downloaded and your virtual ID ready show at the door. A night filled with yard games, music, food, laser tag, gaga ball, badminton, swimming, video games and more. Take a break from unpacking, come meet and get to know your classmates and have some fun!

Friday, August 23rd: FIELD DAY

Classic Field Day Event - Tug of War: RA's vs OL's - Who you got?

A little twist to this year's Field Day event, being an Olympic year, this year we have decided to split the OL's into teams for their chance to earn bragging rights and to win a pizza party for the group! This event will have your basic field day activities and will also feature 5 scored events to determine this year's CHAMPIONS! Can't beat being under the lights at Strong Stadium on a Friday night. Activities include: Bouncy House, Bags, Frisbee, Potato Sack Relay, Dance Routine, 40 Yard Dash, Soccer, and more!

Saturday, August 24th - SAND VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT

Teams in action at the Volleyball tournament.

Each Orientation Leader will form a team, make sure you ask your OL about joining the team. This event takes from 1:00pm to 4:00pm in front of Wood Hall. There will also be food, music, spikeball, bags, and other yard games - a great opportunity to have some fun and meet other Beloit students.

Sunday, August 25th: BOATHOUSE BASH

Stand Up Paddle Boards, Canoes, and Kayaks are available for use

Get ready for a great event! 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Boathouse, shuttles will be available, pick up at the Wall 1:00pm, 1:30pm and return trips at 3:30pm and 4:00pm. Yard games, music, food, and endless fun by the water! But before you walk the plank and head out on the water make sure to register and sign the online waiver on the Campus Rec App!

Battle of the Rock River! Beloit College vs Rockford University. Join us Saturday, September 7th, 2024 for yard games, football toss, food, fun and more! Game starts at 1:00pm, Tailgate starts at 11:30am. Go Bucs!
