The Library takes a major step in its digital transformation with the launch of an advanced AI-powered virtual assistant on its official website, available 24/7. Τhrough this initiative, it becomes the first and only library in Greece to implement such an innovative digital assistant. Unlike traditional automated systems, the assistant connects in real time with the Library’s catalog and systems, allowing users to search for books and materials, access event information, and receive instant updates on hours, borrowing rules, and membership procedures. Designed to be user-friendly for all ages in all languages, the assistant enhances the Library’s mission to combine a passion for knowledge with cutting-edge technology, making information more accessible than ever.
