When the clock hit zero in front of a sold-out crowd in Bender Arena on March 12, the Eagles were Patriot League Champions for the fourth time in program history and first time since 2014. The Eagles soared to a 22-13 record, capturing the Patriot League Championship and returning to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in over a decade. The team matched the program record for conference wins with 13, set a new mark for three-pointers made in a season with 299, and gave head coach Duane Simpkins an opportunity to raise the trophy in just his second year at the helm.
