Stress Awareness Month and Financial Literacy Month
Just Breathe, DC! Stress is an inevitable part of our lives. While some stress is good for us (eustress), often we feel the effects of harmful stress (distress).
This month we highlight Stress Awareness Month and Financial Literacy Month. DCHR Wellness cares for you and has planned an incredible lineup of courses with practical tools you can put in your wellness toolbox. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, finding work/life balance, or navigating workplace stress, we have resources for you. Strengthen your understanding of how your financial health is linked to your mental and physical health with our Financial Health = Wealth class. On top of all the wellness learning and development, DCHR Wellness is hosting our annual Biometrics Screening Tour! We are bringing the opportunity to know your numbers to YOU! Mindful Mondays
Kickstart your week with our Mindful Mondays meditation classes to help you foster presence, sharpen focus, and lessen emotional reactivity. These sessions are designed to fortify your resilience against stress, heighten self-awareness, nurture healthier relationships, and ultimately elevate your quality of life.
30-Minute Meditation: Reduce Anxiety and Stress
Occurs Every Monday

Start your week with our Monday meditation classes to help you sharpen your focus, and get ready for the days ahead. Meditations are inspired to give your mind a little rest to rejuvenate and recharge.
Each 30-minute meditation helps relax the entire body, including the brain, the nervous system, and the heart’s blood pressure. Gentle slow breaths also nurture the immune system and lower rates of anxiety and depression.
