"I strive for two things in design: simplicity and clarity. Great design is born of those two things."

My approach to analysis involves gathering comprehensive information from all stakeholders and critically evaluating the problem with a focus on both the learners' needs and the company’s objectives.
GAP ANALYSIS
Learner and Environment Analysis
I concentrated on systematically breaking down the key skills NHTs will acquire in Module 4, ensuring that each concept builds on the previous one for a cohesive learning experience. I implemented a top-down approach to provide structured support, guiding NHTs from foundational concepts to more advanced applications, ensuring they have the necessary scaffolding throughout the learning process.

At the end of this module, newly hired teachers will be able to utilize the H5P platform to create interactive quizzes for evaluation of student result data.
My design approach focuses on practical, hands-on learning with effective use of slides, videos and audio narration.

Using H5P to Evaluate Student Data
The instructional strategy begins with a short video showcasing how an interactive quiz was used to enhance student engagement, highlighting drag-and-drop, multiple-choice questions, and automated feedback. This is used to arouse curiosity and focus attention.
My approach to building the instructional content was to focus on a step-by-step process that guides NHTs through each key element of using H5P. Each step was designed to be intuitive, ensuring that teachers could gradually build their skills—from understanding H5P's features to creating aligned, interactive quizzes with personalized feedback.
The instruction is scaffolded to ensure that by the end of the module, NHTs can confidently create and configure quizzes, provide personalized feedback, and maintain high-quality instructional tools, all while aligning these assessments with curriculum goals.
My approach to mapping out assessments focused on aligning the evaluation tasks with specific learning objectives and the practical application of skills. I aimed to ensure that each assessment item addressed a key instructional goal and provided a clear demonstration of mastery.
The instruction in this module uses the criterion-referenced model as it focuses on whether or not NHTs can meet specific performance criteria.
We worked on the evaluation as a team, focusing on creating a formative assessment that captures key feedback on the effectiveness and clarity of the instructional content.
I designed an anonymous Google Form to collect feedback on content accuracy, ease of understanding, and confidence in using digital tools, which will be critical for refining future iterations of the program
