Trader Joes’ take on a salted caramel flavored hot cocoa serves to be a satisfactory beverage on a chilly morning. While the sweetness is somewhat overpowering, it is perfectly suitable for those with a pronounced sweet tooth. The salted caramel taste is prominent, adding to its rich, sugary flavor. Mixed with milk and topped with marshmallows, I give it a solid rating of 3/5 as it is a delectable choice for when you crave an extra bit of sweetness in your cup.
Something Spritzy 3/5
One could only describe Trader Joe’s beverage Something Spritzy as interesting! It’s a blend of holiday flavors all encapsulated into a single can, and is definitely not a drink for everyone. In some ways it’s reminiscent of cinnamon and other spices, however it’s difficult to pinpoint one. While I personally didn’t mind its flavor, I can see as to why some may not personally enjoy the drink. Nonetheless, I’d give it a 3/5 as it was a new, festive drink to try this holiday season.
Candy Cane Green Tea 2.5/5
Trader Joe’s peppermint green tea is a classic blend of any standard mint tea, but is somewhat milder and has a small hint of sweetness! Instantly upon opening the box you’re hit with a classic candy cane scent, which you can also expect when fully steeped. The taste isn’t overwhelmingly minty and is a lot softer than other brands. However, the tea itself is not anything spectacular and you could probably expect a similar flavor from other tea bags/brands. Nonetheless, I’d give it a solid 2.5/5, as I prefer its more mild take on mint. Plus, it’s decaffeinated so it makes the perfect, warm drink all day long!
Astounding Multi-Flavor Mini Pretzels 4/5
The Astounding Multi-Flavor Mini Pretzels from Trader Joe’s are packed with flavor and texture. Each bag has their own element of crunch, notably the candy cane covered ones. They were personally my favorite alongside the Milk Chocolate Rainbow Pearl ones. I loved each decorated bag, and the combo of 4 different flavors is perfect for sharing! I give them a 4/5
Jingle Jangle 4.5/5
I reviewed another pretzel forward item, this time mixed with various other snack items! Trader Joe’s Jingle Jangle was the perfect mixture of sweet treats for the holiday season. From the mini peanut butter cups to the Joe Joe’s cookies, each one had the perfect sweetness. I love snack mixes and this one satisfied any and all sweet cravings! I give it a solid 4.5/5.
