Perfect Practice takes great pride in being the home of the Upstate Empire Travel Softball Program and the Syracuse Jr. Chiefs Baseball Program. The Jr. Chiefs are celebrated as one of Central New York's top developmental programs, featuring teams across the 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, and 17/18U divisions. Moreover, it holds the distinction of being the oldest youth travel program in both Syracuse and the Northeast, established in 1975!
Perfect Practice has been dedicated to training and guiding softball players from various organizations and programs, helping them elevate their game to the next level. After years of successfully nurturing baseball talent, the question arose as to why we hadn't established a softball program. A program thrives only when it is backed by skilled coaching staff, a competent management team, and the necessary facilities to cultivate young athletes. These elements are vital for teaching, communicating, and mentoring emerging players. We are excited to announce that we now possess all the components needed to launch a premier softball developmental program for players and their families in Central New York, paving the way for a bright future.
In youth softball, the primary objective is not winning—it’s development and fun. Winning is definitely a goal, but it should not be pursued to the exclusion of everything else. Our mission is to provide a journey and a process that shapes young lives. Winning at all costs ignores this.

- 30 Free Fungoman Credits per Week
- 5 Tournaments - 10U
- 6 tournaments - 12U/14U/16U
- League Play/Games for All Levels
- 20 Weeks of Indoor Practice Sessions - November to March (2 Hours - Saturdays & 1 1/2 Hours - Weekday)
- 2 Practice Sessions per Week - April through July
- Paid and Compensated Coaches at each Level
- 10 Week Speed, Agility and Quickness Class for the 12U/14U/16U Players - January to March
