Week 6

Science - In Science, we have been continuing our work on shadows and light. We learned that the closer a solid object is to a light source, the larger the shadow becomes. This happens because the object blocks a wider area of light. We had lots of fun testing this out!

Computing - In Computing this week, we have been learning about networks. A network is a group of computers or devices that are connected so they can share information. We talked about the different devices in school and how they are all linked together. Afterwards, we went to the computer room to practise our skills. We searched for images of our favourite animals and saved them into a specific folder with our names on it.

English - We have been looking at recipes again this week! Once we watched a video of how Rice Krispie cakes are made, we wrote our own instructions to follow, using imperative verbs and time connectives. Next week, we are going to make Rice Krispie cakes using our own recipes!

Maths - This week, we finished our learning on multiplication and division. We have been revising over division in particular. We looked at making groups when working out a division question.
