Born on the vibrant streets of Lisbon in 2017 by a collective international musicians, G combo started as a busking project, weaving their music through the rhythm of the city’s heartbeat.

What started as a raw and intimate form of street performance soon bloomed into something bigger with their debut album, “El Circo de la Vida”. Their powerful live soundsystem, composed of three musicians, took them on tours across Spain and Portugal, bringing their infectious energy to audiences in every corner.

By 2019, the trio grew into a full organic band, marking a new chapter in their sound with the release of “Gran Reserva”. The music, now deeper and more refined, captured the soul of their evolving journey, blending rich rhythms and heartfelt lyrics.

The years that followed, from 2020 to 2022, were a time of resilience. As the world shifted, G combo adapted to a smaller format during the pandemic but never losing their connection to the crowd releasing several singles.

In 2024, the band returned to the studio to record “De la Rama a la Raíz”, their third album, set for release in 2025. With a return to their full-band lineup and an international tour on the horizon, G combo is set to share their vibrant energy and sound with the world.

"World fusion, mixed with a dash of electronics. A fascinating mix where everything seems to fit together organically and merge.

"A musical feast. Slowly the thumping beats of cumbia come in, which gradually puts me in a trance. The mix of cumbia with dub is sublime"

Victor-Adrian Sierra Fernandez, Latinworld.nl

"Reggae with Cuban/South American influences, with a bit of jazz here and a touch of Hip/Hop there. Out of the 12 songs included, most of them sound like instant radio hits"

8,0 out of 10 points, Strutter'zine September 2020 about G combo's album 'Gran Reserva'.

"They have released a quirky and extremely tasteful summer album, which will certainly make the hearts of Manu Chao's fans beat faster."

Writes Jan Willem Broek in subjectivisten.nl week 40

"Gran Reserva is a delightful album that also sounds deceptively relaxed and simple, because if you listen more often you can really hear how refined everything is put together and how many small surprises there are still hidden in the music. An absolute must! "
