Guide for the Broncos and Rams Offseason

Rams:

The Rams quietly already look like next year’s Super Bowl champs. They have so much cap space, with barely anything to fix. Their #1 minor thing to do is to decide what to do with Kamren Curl. Curl has led the Rams in tackles this year and has been one of the key pieces in the Rams secondary. Quentin Lake has already been given a big extension, so I don’t know if the Rams will resign Curl. If so the Rams cap will definitely be a struggle in years to come, and I think the Rams will want to save cap for the post-Stafford era.

In the draft a lot of people are talking about the Rams drafting Spencer Fano with their higher pick or Caleb Lomb with their later pick but they don’t need offensive line. The Rams were top 10 in pass block, and rush block so they seem set there. Where they do need fixing is the secondary. The Rams are bottom 10 in pass yards allowed and they are bottom 10 in completions allowed. Mansoor Delane won’t be available by the Rams pick but Jermod McCoy surely will. That would give the Rams a lock down corner to add to their secondary. If the Rams lose Kurl, then in the second round they could look towards Dillion Theinman or Emmanuel McNeil-Warren in the second round.

  1. Don’t Resign Kam Curl
  2. Pick Corner in the 1st round
  3. Get a Curl Replacment

Broncos:

The Broncos are the closest team in the NFL to perfect. Their offensive line is the best in the league being top 10 in pass and run block, and having 3 offensive-lineman ranked top 10 at their position. On defense the Broncos are top 5 in pass rush and run stop, and top 5 in yards allowed. The Broncos are not perfect yet though. If Bo Nix can develop into a top 10 QB, then the Broncos won the Super Bowl next year. The Broncos have lots of cap space. John-Franklin-Meyers is one of the key players for the Broncos to resign. Meyers had 7.5 sacks this year, but the Broncos might want to save cap for free agency. The thing is, taking any pieces away from this defense could make the whole thing crashing down, so resigning him may be the smart option. The Broncos looking towards the draft could do many things. Linebacker is probably the place where they should go, as both of their starters are free agents. CJ Allen is probably the pick in late first round, as the other top linebackers will already be gone. In free agency the Broncos should finally find their WR2. The only problem is what happens to Mims or Franklin who would be the WR3. The Broncos could trade one of them for picks. Alec Pierce is probably the top WR free agent for the Broncos, as he had the best season of his career, and he would be a big target for Bo Nix.

  1. Resign John-Franklin-Myers
  2. Draft CJ Allen or another Linebacker
  3. Sign Alec Pierce in Free Agency
