Hello! Half term already - time is flying by in 2024! Have a look at some of the great things we've been busy with this week, below. We return to school on Monday 19th February and we look forward to welcoming all of our children at 8:40am. Have a great week.
Thanks so much for supporting the PTFA sponsored pancake flipping event today! You have been so generous - thank you! The PTFA are working with our school council to help to decide what to spend their funds on, for the benefit of all of our children. We really do appreciate how much you're supporting them.
Some of you may have already be aware after receiving one, but we are moving from paper bump notes to digital. These will be sent to you via email and will also be viewable on your child's Arbor profile. You may still receive a paper note as we use up the last of our supplies, but hopefully going forward this will be a more efficient system. Please let us have any feedback that you might have about this change - we want it to be clearer and more cost effective. You can email any feedback to enquiries@sqp.wwpat.org
This week our Internet Safety Guide from the National College focusses on the app: Monkey. Don't forget that you can talk to us if you're worried about your child's time online.
Please support your children by ensuring they are following the required uniform expectations, including on PE days. Children should be dressed in a yellow or black polo shirt and black trousers, skirt, shorts or plain black leggings. Yellow gingham dresses may also be worn. Black cardigans or hoodies can be worn with or without the school logo. For PE, children need their white school PE top or plain white T-shirt and black shorts or tracksuit bottoms. No football shirts please. Please may we remind you to label your child's uniform with their name.
Thank you for your continued support of our school and for supporting your child by ensuring they're at school on time and they read at least 4 times each week. If you would like to discuss any aspect of your child's time in school you can email enquiries@sqp.wwpat.org, find me on ClassDojo or chat to me at the start or end of the school day.
At Swinton Queen Primary School, children are aspirational, courageous and inquisitive; respectful of all.
