Explore Project
The Explore Project was our first project, the main reason for this project was to play around in Pixlr and Photoshop and to practice editing photos. We were supposed to find 20 google images, and edit all of them. We made a slideshow and showed our before and after photos so you can see the edit. For the last 5 photos instead of google images we edited our own before and after images that we took. When I was doing this project I mainly was using Pixlr for this project, but the main editing tool I used was changing the color or brightness. Of all my favorite photos I edited in this project this photo was my favorite photo because I like the angle I got the photo it shows her shoulder not in the picture and then it shows her face and reflection in the mirror. I also like the different colors in the photo and the vibrance in the photo makes it stand out.
GTK Project
For this project we did a scavenger hunt, and went shooting a couple days. We had a list of 25 things to find. Then we went to photoshop and Pixlr to edit all of our photos. Then we made a collage with our top 15 photos, then just turned in the other 10. The project was about taking pictures using the different modes on the camera, and learning how to use the different editing software's better. I mainly used Pixlr for the project also, and one of my main techniques is changing the vibrance and warmth in the photo to make it stand out. Here is a picture of my collage and my single favorite shot photo.
Gen AI Project
This project was mainly about playing around with AI for the most part the whole project was made using AI and some of our own shot photos. We went shooting for one day because we only needed 5 photos for this project. Then we came back and edited them. For one of the photos we had a google image and all of ours was the same and then we just added AI stuff to it to make it cool and different, also we needed to add on our the phots we took to this image. The next one we created completely from scratch and added what ever we wanted to it. The third photo we took a picture of someone and made them into a character. The next picture we used one of our past photos and added a minimum of 6 AI changes to it. Lastly we did another character photo for our last AI photo. I learned how to make a photos still be the same photo but make it look completely different. Here are all of my photos from this project!
WIP Project
In this project we were supposed to take pictures of natural or created letters to make a minimum of 6 character word. For my two words I did my first name "Olivia" and my last name "Bevis" My strategy for this project it to look around for the letters in random things but if I cant find it then i will make it out of something like seashells, rocks, flowers, keys, etc. I used Photoshop for this whole project. Once I was finished out of those two photos I think that the word "Olivia" is the best because I like the lighting on all of the photos I think that it makes it stand out. I like how I used an eye for an "I" and I feel like if you get take a quick glance at the photo you can tell what it says right away.
Top 20 Collage
For this project we just had to make a collage of our top 20 favorite photos from the first 9 weeks. I created my collage on Photoshop and I tried to do about the same amount of favorite photos from each project.
PICTO Project
For this project, we were supposed to edit 3 personal images that we captured. We had to use certain techniques for editing our photo using different style photos, and filters. The first image we had to include 5 or more selectable subjects, with 5 or more filters. The second image had to have an image of you with a filter to make it look like your in a painting or drawing.
EAPD Project
In this project, we were supposed to go take 21 photos of different Elements of Art, including line, shape, texture, color, value, space, and form. We were told to take 3 different photos of each and make them into little collages. Then I went to Photoshop and created a whole Elements of Art collage with all of the elements. We we are finished it is supposed to be like a poster.
CompositionTech Project
For this project, we were told to shoot 20 different images in 10 different categories. We went shooting 3 times while rotating between outside and the studio. Once we all got 20 images and place them into different categories, we had to option to use blending modes for either 5 images of 3, or 3 images of 5 layers. I choose 5 images with 3 layers blended into each other. Out of all the images, my favorite
Tutorial Project
For this project, we had to find five Photoshop effect tutorials using Google. We had to use those tutorials and create two images that followed them. Theis project allowed me to use all of my skills that I had gathered over the past few months. I used Photoshop and Pixler to create my images. My favorite image is the one of Lynley because I like how it looks so clean and it took me a while to do so it makes me feel good how the final product turned out. I also like the hand and the finger pushed her face because I think it just adds a nice touch.
