From the Hilltop June 2025

Goodbye...for Now

There is a misperception that the end of the school year is one of great celebration for faculty. But attend a last class, graduation, faculty retirement clap-out, senior game, or close of a residence hall, and it's such sweet sorrow. Luckily, on the heels of graduation, KUA revels in the opportunity to welcome alumni home for Reunion to fill the void. Join us as we reflect on these comings and goings and all the joy it brings to the KUA community in this issue of From the Hilltop. We'll pause for the summer, but we'll be back with all the news and events from Meriden this fall. Enjoy!

Reunion 2025 Reconnects the KUA Community

Thank you to all our returning alumni for making our 2025 Reunion Weekend truly unforgettable! Your enthusiasm, warmth, and school spirit filled our campus with joy and laughter. We celebrated several special milestones this year. The Class of 1955 dedicated a balcony in the new Howe Dewdney Residence Hall, named in honor of, and appreciation for, Allan F. Munro '55, P'81, '83, '11, '13, GP'11 and the Great Class of ’55. And, the Class of 2020 returned for an in-person celebration of their graduation five years after COVID-19 disrupted their senior year. It was great to welcome them home.
