Third Jenneration's Story
In the 1960s, Henry Krueger began his carving legacy in Reading, Massachusetts, with the creation of a Viking-themed chess set—an impressive debut! Hank's exceptional talent earned him numerous awards for his woodcarvings. He was also a founding member of the New England Woodcarvers Association.
During the 1980s, Leslie and her father Henry ran a successful local craft business specializing in decorative wooden folk art. Young Jenny often accompanied her mother and Pop Pop to craft fairs, soaking in the creative environment. Leslie's Count Your Blessings family plaques still hang on walls of families and Hank’s intricate wooden state and country magnets continue to adorn refrigerators across the U.S. and around the world today.
Though Henry passed away in 2007, Leslie and Jenn are carrying on his artistic legacy as the second and third generations of passionate artisans, sharing their creativity and designs at fairs throughout New England and their designs have traveled throughout the world.
Dynamic Mother Daughter Duo
Jenn, a passionate physical education teacher, designs and creates original, one-of-a-kind headbands. Her headband business started when she crafted "Title Town" headbands to showcase her spirit for the New England sports teams. The headbands quickly gained popularity among teachers, who wanted to wear them at school, games, and during the Super Bowl!
Within months, Jenn expanded her designs to include Halloween and Christmas themes. The business flourished, leading Jenn to enlist her mom, Leslie, as a partner. Leslie, the CFO of Dome Decor by Third Jenneration, supports Jenn not only at craft fairs but also in everyday life as a best friend. Now their collections include headbands celebrating every holiday and everyday life. The dynamic duo has created over 1,000 unique designs.
Jenn’s favorite headbands include those over 18 inches tall and in her signature color—glitter! Leslie’s favorites feature peppermint and Disney-inspired ears, adding fun and flair to their creative collection.
behind the SCENES
Jenn’s father, Norman, and her husband, Jeremy, are the behind-the-scenes heroes of every fair. Whether they’re setting up, breaking down, or hauling gear to and from the trailer, these two have it down to a science. Over time, they’ve mastered the art of packing the trailer with precision, always thinking ahead to the next weekend’s setup.
But their efforts don’t stop there—Norman and Jeremy also serve as unofficial sales associates, helping customers try on headbands and hats, and lending a hand at the checkout. Norman’s favorites include the Grill Master collection and the Tally the Elf–inspired visor. Jeremy, who has a line of Dome Decor Scally caps named after him called “Hubby Hats,” prefers headbands that don’t leave him covered in glitter.
