HOW I GOT HERE
My writing journey wasn't planned; it was born out of CURIOSITY, NECESSITY, and a growing LOVE for expression. I still remember the first time someone asked me, " Can you help me with this paper?" I did and I loved it.
The process of turning scattered ideas into something coherent and powerful gave me a kind of satisfaction I hadn't expected. One job led to another, and slowly, writing stopped being something I did on the side; it became something I couldn't imagine not doing.
Over the years, what started as helping a few students or professionals became a full-time craft. I began to refine not just my grammar or tone, but my ability to listen, to understand exactly what a client needed, even when they couldn't fully express it themselves. From academic research to business reports, CVS, proposals, and personal statements, I discovered that writing is more than content; it's clarity, persuasion, and trust on a page.
What keeps me going 11 years later is simple: I love helping people tell their story, argue their point, or pass that life-changing assignment. Every project is a puzzle, and every happy client is a reminder that I'm exactly where I'm meant to be.
Background and Education
I began my academic journey at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology, where I pursued a BSc in Business Management. and completed my degree in 2010. During this period, I developed a solid foundation in key business concepts. Besides, it was here that I first gained an appreciation for structured thinking and analytical writing that would later become central to my professional path.
In 2012, I joined London Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom, where I earned an MSc in International Business Management. This experience exposed me to the complexities of international trade, cross-cultural leadership, and global strategic planning. More importantly, it strengthened my academic research capabilities and enhanced my ability to analyse and communicate complex ideas; an essential skillset I now apply across all areas of my writing career.
