Third graders in Mr. Gross’ class tapped into both their imagination and artistic skills during a creative writing and illustration activity. Students were provided with the beginning of a story and challenged to invent their own alternate endings. Once their writing was complete, they illustrated the ending they created. The project encouraged students to think beyond the original story and explore how characters and events could unfold in different ways. Each drawing reflected the student’s unique twist, showing how their written ideas could come to life through art.
