Join us on Thursday, April 17 for an evening of gathering together to raise awareness for the issue of food insecurity in Vermont.
Art students at OV crafted handmade ceramic bowls for our Empty Bowl Fundraiser. Come anytime between 4:00 and 5:30. Select a bowl, enjoy a meal of soup and bread, donated by our local community partners, and take the bowl home with you. Suggested donation $10 - $20 but any amount welcome. All funds raised will be donated to the Brandon and Pittsford Food Shelves.
Then, stay for a screening of the 90-minute documentary about food insecurity in Vermont called "Just Getting By" starting at 5:30 with a Question & Answer session after the show with the filmmaker Bess O'Brien
