Principal's Message
Conrad Families -
As we approach the holiday season, we pause with gratitude, pride, and appreciation for all that our school community has accomplished together. This time of year invites reflection, celebration, and connection—and it is truly uplifting to recognize the collective efforts of our students, families, teachers, and staff. Throughout the past months, we have celebrated academic growth, student achievements, performances, competitions, and countless everyday moments that reflect care, perseverance, and collaboration. These successes are a direct result of our strong partnerships and shared commitment to supporting every student. As we look ahead to the New Year, we do so with optimism, hope, and excitement. When we return from break, the end of the marking period will be on the horizon—a time to finish strong, reflect on progress, and set goals as we continue building on the momentum we have created together. Thank you for being such an engaged and supportive school community. Wishing you and your families a joyful, restful holiday season and a bright, healthy, and successful New Year.

Council on International Educational Exchange
The Council on International Educational Exchange is a 75 year old non-profit organization offering programs in nine world languages and secondary education subject areas. All programs are educationally aligned, build college and career readiness, and develop multicultural competency skills. CIEE program participants show strong outcomes on 4-week Language and Culture programs including earning the Global Seal of Biliteracy and 4 college credits through Tulane University and have ACTFL alignment.
This year's scholarship application deadline is extended till February 26th. Most of the funding (up to 90%) goes towards language and culture programs aiming to support WL learners, bilingualism, and global development in US high schools. CIEE had 15 participants to date in the entire state of Delaware and scholarship funding totaled to only $28,000.00. Students apply for programs directly with CIEE. It is not a group travel or faculty involvement model.
