The Dodgers extended game ended with a smile

Ohtani started the 2024 Major League Baseball's away match against the San Francisco Giants at Oracle Park in San Francisco, California, on the 30th (Korea time), and started as a designated hitter, recording one hit (one home run) and two walks and two strikeouts in four times at bat.

This brings Ohtani's batting average to 0.321 for the season.

▲ the starting lineup

Dodgers: Shohei Ohtani (designated hitter), Will Smith (catcher), Freddie Freeman (first baseman), Teoscar Hernandez (left fielder), Andy Fraz (center fielder), Jason Heyward (right fielder), Miguel Rojas (striker), Gavin Lux (second baseman) - Cavan Biggio (third baseman), starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow.

Ohtani's first at bat was regrettable. After playing a full count match against Miller, he struck out a foul tip on his 82.9 miles (133.4 kilometers) slider in the seventh pitch.

San Francisco took the lead. Soler's double in the bottom of the first inning took the opportunity. After that, the following hitters calmly started the team batting. Ramonte advanced Soler to third base with a grounder to second base, and Ramos fired a sacrifice fly to create the first run.

Then, the Dodgers brought the game to square one. With one out in the top of the second inning, Frazee hit a double. Hayward grounded out to second, but Frazee advanced to third base. Then, Rojas hit a timely hit, tying the game at 1-1.

He continued his momentum and made a come-from-behind victory. Ohtani was the main player. Coming up to the batter's box with one out in the top of the third inning, Ohtani hit a 85.6-mile slider on the sixth pitch of the changed pitcher Spencer Howard, hitting the homer over the central fence. It was his 26th homer of the season with a flying distance of 125.6 meters, which flew at 109.7 miles (176.5 kilometers) at the speed of the homer. Ohtani, who could not hit a homer in the previous day's game, reported his homer again in just one game.

Glasnow, however, was in a bad condition. He allowed a large number of runs in the bottom of the third inning, and gave up the lead again. After walking leadoff hitter Med, he allowed a timely double to Soler, allowing the game to be tied again. Ramonte was led to a grounder to shortstop, and Rojas was thrown to third base to get the runner on point. However, Glasnow turned the tables by hitting three consecutive hits to Ramos, Bailey and Chapman with one out.

But that was not the end. Glasnow, who was in danger of getting the bases loaded by allowing Confoto a walk, guided Matos to a groundout to third base, exchanging runs and outs. The score was 5-2.

They continued to hit and take the game. The Dodgers successfully pitched in the big inning, too. With one out in the top of the fourth inning, Rojas and Luxe hitting a walk and Hayward's hit to the first and third bases, the Dodgers gradually began to chase after each other.

Ohtani entered the batter's box with two outs and runners on the first and third bases. After the first pitch, four consecutive balls came in and he walked on base.

Here was the replacement of pitchers. Randy Rodriguez came up. Smith hit an infield single at the bases loaded opportunity, tying the game 5-5. And the Dodgers turned the game around again with Freeman's walk.

San Francisco Giants, however, tied the game 6-6 in the bottom of the fifth inning due to Wisley's timely hit. Ohtani appeared with two outs in the top of the sixth inning to face Tyler Rogers. He hit a sinker (149.5 km) in the fourth pitch, but was out after hitting a fly ball to the left field.

Since then, the game has ended in the ninth inning without a score. Then, Ohtani came to bat. When he encountered Camilo's provocation, Ohtani was helpless against fastballs. After failing to hit the 100-mile (160.9 kilometers) pitch consecutively, Ohtani struck out swinging on a 90.1 mile (145 kilometers) slider at the third pitch.

Ohtani struck out only, but Smith hit and Freeman walked to get the chance to first and second base with one out. However, it did not lead to a score. Hernandez and Frazee bowed their heads with consecutive strikeouts.

The game ended up being extended. The Dodgers turned the game around again. At the top of the 10th inning, Hayward's grounder to the first base with no outs made it to the third base, and Rojas' timely hit made it 7-6.

San Francisco Giants didn't just walk away. With runners on the second base with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning, pinch hitter David Villa scored a timely double. As Ramonte intentionally walked the fourth pitch, he got runners on the first and second bases with one out, and Ramos' infield hit made the bases full. There was no finishing touch. The opportunity fell through as Bayley struck out and Chapman stepped down due to catcher's foul flyout.

In the end, the Dodgers laughed. In the top of the 11th inning, Ohtani intentionally threw four pitches to the first and second bases, and Smith had a two-run double and Freeman hit a timely double, making the Dodgers 10-7. The Dodgers focused on the game. It had five consecutive hits, including Hernandez and Taylor's timely hit, and a three-base hit by a sweep of Hayward. The Dodgers made it 14-7 thanks to Rojas' sacrifice fly. 토토사이트 모음
