What a fantastic ending to the week weather wise! More importantly, a really lovely ‘nearly end’ to the week at the school disco! The attendance was fantastic, the support absolutely brilliant so thank you to everybody who supported another brilliant initiative led by our fantastic fund-raising team. Thank you to the staff who stayed behind for this special evening! A wonderful £366 was raised to help with the costs of our visits program.

Next week, I am sure that we can make Easter Bingo just as much fun. As always, I look forward to seeing you there – it really is a pleasure to attend.

What a weekend we have in store! Mother’s Day arrives and this always makes me think of my own mum! A huge thank you to everybody that plays the role of mother for our fantastic children, they are lucky to have such fantastic role models (though deserving.)

I hope that lots of our families will be spoiling mum in their weekend plans!

The clocks moving forward deprives us of an hour in bed, this is no excuse to forget about the spoiling however! I will be asking the children next week if they have been extra good over the weekend to celebrate and thank their most loved & trusted carer.

Next week in school includes our reception/ FS2 stay and play – Wednesday 2nd April. Please join us and make sure you enjoy our brilliant facilities. Bring a coat if necessary - the children love going outside no matter what the weather.

Thank you to the staff who have donated lots of Easter Egg treats for our Easter raffle – this also takes place next week.

I know that several families will be looking forward to the Rock Steady Concert on Thursday 3rd April. These are always brilliant, hugely entertaining events showcasing the sterling work of Aaron and the talents of our children. If your child is involved in Rock Steady, please try your best to join us.

Mr. Jones has a plea - we are on the lookout for a baby gate. This would be great for our communication room. If you can help, please contact Miss Kent in the office.

Our Key Stage 2 children enjoyed a Visit from Mrs. Wright – a Leader involved with Barnsley Youth Choir. If your child loves singing please see the below flyer which promotes the Barnsley Youth Choir.
