Lastest Update: Entry to the base during the Open House will close at 3:00pm Saturday, 13th September and at 2:00pm Sunday, 14th September.
The 128th Air Refueling Wing will host a two-day open house September 13 and 14, 2025, at General Mitchell Air National Guard Base, located on the east side of international airport at Pennsylvania and Grange. The last open house was in 2012, so be sure to take advantage of this special opportunity. This event is open to the public and guests will get the opportunity to tour static display aircraft, view a variety of military equipment, interact with Airmen and their families, enjoy several exhibitions from select military and civilian agencies, and purchase food and military swag.
This is a static display event that offers a chance to get an up close look at the greatest military air power in the world.
The Open House is a free event open to the public - no preregistration required.

There are designated handicap parking space which are accessible through the main gate entrance on East Grange Avenue
Additional Transportation Options: The city bus route 52 Clement - Pennsylvania has a bus station at Grange Ave that operates during the weekend. Ride-Share services may drop you at 1919 East Grange Ave MKE WI 53207

All bags will be inspected at the entry points to the 128th ARW Base to ensure everyone's safety. All individuals are subject to search. We recommend you keep the number and size of permitted items to a minimum to reduce the inspection time before access.
