Eagle of the Week!

The Eagle of the Week is one student selected every week and nominated by a teacher for acts that go above and beyond for the MSE Community. This week's "Eagle of the Week" is Samantha L. who was selected by Mrs. McDevitt who said "she stood out from the very first week of school and continues daily to show that she truly values her education and additionally is always kind and willing to help others. This Eagle takes responsibility for their learning and asks questions when they are not clear. She is attentive at all times, in spite of distractions that may be happening around them. She is a role-model of respect, responsibility, resilience and relationships." Congrats Samantha!

Intramural Floor Hockey Returns

Hello East floor hockey enthusiasts. It’s that time of year again for the intramural season to get started. The teachers will see if they have what it takes to repeat as league champs. Beginning in late November, we will be launching the EMFHL or East Morning Floor Hockey League. The league is open to all students and all grades as well as East staff members. Games will be played in the morning before school from 7:00am to 7:50 am so please check with your parents to make sure you are able to get dropped off. Doors open at 6:45. There is no cost to join and games will be played on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday mornings. A final schedule will be posted once we have our teams established. Information will be posted on each pod’s book storage room door. Any students interested in playing should stop by B-6 and see Mr. Maisano and sign up. When you sign up, you are expected to show up. Captains will be selected and teams will be drafted on November 16th. Again, see Mr. Maisano to sign up in B-6.
