TANG is a genre-bending instrumental band based out of Nashville and LA. Influences of progressive rock, jam bands, jazz fusion, metal, and more make their way into the swirling journeys that are TANG's live sound. Laying heavy into improvisation, TANG is sure to deliver a unique experience to every crowd while still maintaining the quick runs, tight stops, and memorable licks of the records. Although loved by fans of math rock and progressive metal, TANG has also been well received by enjoyers of jam bands, jazz, and funk due to the wide array of styles implemented by the members. The group is made of seasoned performers who have honed their crafts by touring many times nationally and regionally. TANG itself has opened for the likes of Strawberry Girls, Standards, Little Tybee, Consider the Source and played sold out shows at Denver Meow Wolf, Chicago's Cobra Lounge, and the Volcanic Theater Pub in Bend, OR.
