November is the month of thanks and gratitude, and I want to take a moment to thank all of our families for their support of our school! We have a wonderful school community thanks to everyone working together. We will be out for our Thanksgiving Break from Nov. 24th - 28th. I will send my next press the weekend before we return with reminders and updates. I hope everyone has a fantastic Thanksgiving Break!
Families - it is that time of the year again to complete the annual PCSB Family Survey. This survey gives families a chance to give invaluable input into the ways of work in our school. Please take a moment to complete this survey. The survey can be found at: • www.pcsb.org/survey
We have noticed an increase in late arrivals and early pickups. Please note that school starts at 9:25 and ends at 3:35. Daily and on time attendance is critical to your child's success in school. Even missing 10 minutes a day once a week results in 6 full hours of missed instruction for your child. Please support us in making sure your child regularly attends school on time and for the full duration of the school day.
Our district remains deeply committed to the health and well-being of every student and family we serve. We recognize that the recent government shutdown and temporary disruptions to SNAP benefits may be creating added stress and uncertainty for many households in our community.
PM2 Assessment Dates
Please see the tentative PM2 Assessment Schedule below. We will begin testing after we return from Thanksgiving Break. Any changes to these assessment dates will be communicated by your child's teacher.

In November, we are focusing on being OPEN-MINDED and developing our RESEARCH skills. See ideas below to support your child in becoming a more internationally minded citizen who demonstrates the attributes of a strong thinker!
