Choc-Banana Smoothie iddsi Level 3 Liquidised

This is my go-to quick smoothie recipe that has become my daughter's favourite choice for breakfast. It is also a filling post-gym snack or a great lunch-on-the-run option! Even if I haven't done a grocery shop, I can usually whip this up as all of the ingredients are freezer or pantry staples.

Ingredients

  • 100g frozen banana chunks
  • 2 tbsp rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 heaped tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • milk of choice (can use cows, soy, almond, oat, etc.)
  • optional for adults: shot of instant coffee

Method

  • place all ingredients in blender
  • top up with milk to 400mL level
  • blend until smooth
